Obituary of Kenneth Bauer
Kenneth F. (Ken) Bauer, 66, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2014, due to complications from the lymphatic syndrome YNS. His wife Marsha of 42 years was by his side.
He was born in Shenandoah, PA to Florence Litwinchuk Bauer and Kenneth Bauer Sr. and spent his childhood growing up in Bethlehem, PA. After attending Penn State University and getting both a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a master's degree in Marketing Research, he moved to Blue Bell, PA with his wife, and started a family.
Throughout the years, he was a marketing research analyst at Merck, taught marketing at both Chestnut Hill College and Temple University, and worked in pharmaceutical sales.
He loved to travel, with the highlights being a nine month post-college journey in a van around the US, summer trips to the Jersey Shore, visiting his children as they studied abroad in Italy, and family cruises. He had a passion for gardening, turning his backyard into a tropical oasis. His beloved dog Titus was his constant companion. More than anything else, though, he loved being with his family.
He is survived by his wife Marsha and his children Brooke (husband Josh London) and Brent.
