Obituary

Laurie C. Fisher, age 46, of King of Prussia, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, April 20, 2026, in Paoli Hospital.

Laurie was born in West Chester, PA to the late Eustas Fisher and Sonia (nee: Thomas) Fisher on September 17, 1979. She went to high school at Coatesville Area Senior High School where she participated in color guard, track and field, basketball, the Meistersingers choral ensemble, and more. She graduated in 1998. Laurie went on to earn a BS degree in Health and Business Administration from Eastern University. While at Eastern, she was a member of the Angels of Harmony gospel choir. Laurie worked at Vanguard for 18 years, most recently as a Sr. Communication Consultant.

Laurie was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for her family. She spent her life bringing light and joy to those around her. She had a special way of making people feel seen, heard, and valued. Whether through her words, her presence, or her quiet acts of care, Laurie left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Laurie was a devoted daughter and a cherished sister. She shared a deeply loving relationship with her mother, and together they were inseparable travel companions who found joy in exploring, laughing, spending time side by side, and taking care of one another. Her unbreakable bond with her brothers was one of love, strength, and lifelong connection. Laurie held a special place in the hearts of her nieces and nephews, who will forever remember her as an adoring and supportive Auntie who offered guidance, laughter, and unconditional love. Laurie was also a dedicated dog mom to her cherished Yorkie Poo, Faith.

Laurie had a passion for the Lord and was a faithful servant of her church. She found joy in traveling, exploring new cuisines, spending time with family and friends, going to the movies, listening to music, and helping others. She will be remembered for her warm smile, sense of humor, generosity, resilience and for the way she touched so many lives in meaningful ways.

Laurie is survived by her mother, Sonia Fisher; three brothers, Gary Fisher (Jeremi), Gregory Fisher (Corina), and Jeffery Fisher (Tracey); and a host of nieces, nephews, and godchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Eustas Fisher.

Though Laurie is no longer with us in body, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 6 PM to 8 PM and on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 9 AM to 10 AM at Kirk and Nice Funeral Home, 80 Stenton Ave. Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462, where friends and family can share fond memories.

Laurie will have a celebration of life at Victory Church, 2650 Audubon Rd. Norristown, PA 19403 on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 11 AM.

Laurie will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery, 2025 Old Gulph Rd, Villanova, PA 19085 at 12:30 PM on Thursday, April 30, 2026.
