Lena M. Catrambone passed away peacefully in Lower Gwynedd, PA on Sunday, August 2, 2020.  She was 97 years old.  Born on April 25, 1923 in Philadelphia, she was the second of four children, born to the late Angelo and Severina Roman.

She was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.  She adored her family and has left many treasured memories.  Her numerous friends and relatives would visit her weekly at Spring House Estates.  She will be sadly missed by all of those whose lives she touched.

She spent her long life caring for her family, especially her husband of 65 years, Albert, who passed away in 2006.  She also raised two children of whom she was so proud.  Most of all, she cherished her time with her six grandchildren and eventually her great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Alberta (Emilio) Sfarra; six grandchildren:  Julia, Susan (Dr. Shail Maingi), Jennifer, Michael, Amy (Eric) Boyer, and Christine (Malcolm) James; seven great-grandchildren: Dakota (Danielle), Cherokee, Kiowa, Angela, Nina, Sophia, and Nicholas; and two great-great-grandchildren: Ryder and Rhiannon.  She is also survived by her sister, Molly DiMaria.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a son, Ronald J. Catrambone (1994), and two brothers, Gino and Angelo Roman.

Services will be private at the request of the family.  Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the family will hold a memorial service at a later date once the restrictions are lifted.
