Obituary of Lewis Weidensaul

Lewis H. Weidensaul, of Shannondell, formerly of Plymouth Meeting on March 30, 2015. Age 87. Son of the late Frank E. and Rebecca E. (nee Keifer) Weidensaul, he was born in Ashland, PA. Graduate of Ashland High School, Wyoming Seminary, and the University of Maryland. He played football at the University of Maryland and was a member of the 1952 Sugar Bowl team. He proudly served as a radioman in the U.S. Navy in the years following World War II. Lew retired as a safety engineer for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company.

Beloved husband of the late Helen L. Weidensaul. Loving father of Lynn Monarch and Scott Weidensaul (Deborah). Dear grandfather of Kyle Monarch, Sara Biehl, Kelsey Monarch, Tyler Weidensaul and Cole Weidensaul. Great grandfather of Lucas Monarch.

Brother of the late George Weidensaul (Janet).

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 10-11 am at the Heritage Chapel at George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Ave. Plymouth Meeting, PA where services will be held at 11 am. Interment to follow.
