Obituary of Lindalee Spruell
Lindalee Spruell, age 52, died suddenly at her home in Telford, PA. Born in Danville, Va, she was the daughter of the late Marion (nee Herling) and M. Lee Spruell. She received a BS degree in Zoology from George Washington University, Wash, DC and a diploma from the Chestnut Hill Hospital School of Nursing. Lindalee specialized in infant and child intensive care nursing and practiced in Jupiter, Fl, Encinitas, CA and other locations as a traveling nurse. She was a practitioner of reiki and was an avid birder, spotting and logging an impressive number of bird species. She traveled with her sister, Theresa to South America and Canada, and with her friend, Richard Robinson to many other locations. Lindalee was a caring "people person" and her delightful giggle was contagious. She was also widely known as a "night owl". In addition to her father, M. Lee Spruell, Lindalee is survived by her stepmother Mary Ellen Shanko-Spruell , brother David, sister-in-law Orchida Spruell, brother Ronald Shanko, sisters Theresa Logan and Linda V. Spruell.
