Loretta C. Duckworth, 77, passed away peacefully on Thursday September 20th surrounded by her husband and all her children. Born in Philadelphia to Joseph Ciocco and Elizabeth (Trocolli). Loving wife of 37 years to W. Joseph Duckworth. Beloved Mother to Sheara Ginsberg Graber (Erik), Jason Duckworth (Angela), David Ginsberg (Nicole) and Christopher Duckworth ( Jessicah). Doting Grandmother to Ethan Graber, Amanda Duckworth,Alex Graver, Lucy Duckworth, Talitha Duckworth , Cana Duckworth, Julia Ginsberg, Samuel Ginsberg, Seth Graber and Naaman Duckworth. Also survived by her brother Thomas Ciocco (Rosemarie), beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.
Loretta earned three degrees from Temple University and was proud to be one of its most loyal supporters, serving on many boards at Temple including the Board of Trustees for many years. Loretta, trained as an art historian and was delighted to serve as guide at the Philadelphia Museum of Art for more then two decades.
On Monday October 8th, a Memorial Service in her honor will be held at Temple University's Rock Hall, 1715 N. Broad St. The family will receive guests from 9:30A.M. Service will begin at 10:30 AM. Valet Parking will be provided.
In lieu of flowers, contruibutions should be made to the College of Liberal Arts, Temple University.
