Obituary of Margaret Borrelli

Mrs. Margaret Borrelli passed away January 1st, 2012 at her residence. She was 88 years old. The daughter of the late Nicola and Anna DelGuerico she was the beloved wife of Joseph Borrelli for 70 years. During her younger years she worked as a waitress for Astor Diner, Pike Restaurant, Gwyndale Diner and Yankee Clipper, just to name a few. She also traveled every week to take her daughter to dance classes, rehearsal and recitals. She was active in PTA and other school activities as well. In later years Peggy loved cooking for friends and family and was a wonderful homemaker. Being an important part of her granddaughter's life and being able to babysit her great-grandchildren was the joy of her life. Peggy and Joe's love & devotion to each other for 70 years will live on. In addition to her husband Peggy is survived by her daughter Diane Frederick, her granddaughter Dawn DellaBarba, 3 great-grandsons: Brandon, Brett and Adrian Grow as well as one great-granddaughter Aubrey DellaBarba.
