Obituary of Margaret Peacock

Margaret L. Peacock, of Jenkintown, on October 24, 2013. Born in Hazelton, daughter of the late James Mazzola and Mabel Hardcastle, she graduated from Hazelton High School. She was a ship welder at the Philadelphia Navy Yard during World War II and retired from Fleer Corporation. Margaret loved gardening and was active in the Salvation Army.

Beloved wife of the late James B. Peacock. Loving mother of 8: Carolyn Grandinetti, James Peacock, the late Judy McCabe, Robert Peacock, Bruce Peacock, David Peacock, the late Karen Peacock and Richard Peacock. Dear grandmother of 20 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her brother, James Joseph Mazzola, a WWII Marine who earned a Purple Heart for his service.
