IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Maria
Malantonio
May 17, 1975 – July 15, 2020
Maria Malantonio passed away on July 15, 2020 after a brief battle with breast cancer at the age of 45. Maria was born on May 17, 1975 in Reading, PA. She was born to the late John Malantonio, Sr. and Sara (Haas) Malantonio.
Maria grew up most of her life in Harleysville, PA where she graduated from North Penn High School in 1993. She worked at Thrift Drug/Eckerd Pharmacy Store in Lansdale, PA for over 10 years and then she moved to Sebring Florida in 2006. For the past 5 plus years, Maria worked as a Deli Associate for Winn-Dixie in Sebring, FL. Maria was a very dedicated worker and worked up to a few weeks prior to her death. When Maria was not working she liked to make crafts, shop and watch her two favorite shows. She had a huge compassionate heart for the people she met and animals she rescued. Maria would go all out every year to decorate for each and every holiday. The most important thing to Maria was spending time with her children, being together as a family with all of us together as much as possible and taking care of her animals.
Maria is survived by her three beautiful children Anthony Malantonio, Kaitlyn Malantonio and Juliana Malantonio; mother Sara (Haas) Malantonio; grandmother Joyce Homer Heaver; siblings John Malantonio, Jr., sister Lisa Malantonio-Allison and brother-in-law David Allison; niece Samantha Malantonio; nephews Joseph Malantonio, Michael Malantonio, and Christopher Malantonio; and her great niece Abrianna Loblack. Maria was always her father's "baby girl" and is preceded in death by him, John Malantonio, Sr. Maria has already joined her dad in heaven and will now be put to rest next to him.
Friends and family are invited to Maria's funeral service at 11:30 AM on Friday, October 9, 2020 at George Washington Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Libby's Legacy Breast Cancer Foundation at 112 Annie St., Orlando, Fl 32806 or online at http://libbyslegacy.org .
