Obituary of Marie Hartner

Marie A. Hartner passed away on August 2, 2012 at the age of 89. She was born and raised in Wilmington, DE and lived her adult life in Philadelphia, PA. She retired from the Philadelphia School District after devoting 25 plus years. In her retirement, Marie enjoyed going to the casinos, being a member of several Senior Citizens groups and spending time with her granddaughters. She also enjoyed her time with friends. She will be remembered for her compassionate heart, big smile and willingness to always help others.

Beloved wife of the late Archibald(Archie) R. Hartner. Devoted mother of David (Teresa) and James (Catherine). Loving grandmother of Sherry and Dawn. Great grandmother of Tyler Dill and Kylie Dill as well as many other grandchildren and great grand children.



Also survived by her brothers Paul Gagnon and Horace Gagnon. She was pre-deceased by her siblings Alexander Gagnon, Jr. Francis Gagnon, Bill Gagnon, Eleanor Gagnon, and Edward Gagnon.
