Mario, 73, of East Norriton Twp. passed away on Oct. 5, 2016. He was born in Philadelphia on Sep. 26, 1943 to the late Alberto and Assunta Pellegrino. He is predeceased by brothers John and Marciano Pellegrino; sister Jennie Coralluzzo; and stepson Lawrence Derfler, Jr. He was the devoted husband to Frances Pellegrino for 42 years. He was a longtime distributor for various local newspapers. He loved Philadelphia sports, bowling, his vegetable garden, and most importantly his 4 grandchildren, who fondly referred to him as "Yo Pop".

He is survived by his wife Frances; stepchildren David (Anne) Derfler, Kristine Kowalchuk, and Kurt (Colleen) Derfler; grandchildren Alexander, Kathryn, Jack, and Sean; and many other loving family and friends.

All are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, Oct. 11 from 10:30-11am, and a memorial service at 11:00am, both at the Heritage Chapel at George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Ave., Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. Interment at GWMP to follow.
