Obituary of Marjorie Twiford

Marjorie A. (Hellyer) Twiford, age 86, passed away Wednesday November 16th in her home. She was born April 16th, 1925 to Wilbur and Winifred (Landes) Hellyer in Philadelphia. She is survived by her four children: daughter Barbara Coyne and husband John of Green Lane, son Jeffrey Twiford and wife Linda of Blue Bell, son James Twiford and wife Alexis of Arvada, CO and daughter Sally Sneff and husband Mark of Schwenksville; seven grandchildren, Lisa Noecker, Laurie Peden, Becky Hachmi-Twiford, Mandy Bowman, Dan Twiford, Emily Sneff and Michael Sneff; a step-grandson Jason Lipshutz; and four great-grandchildren, Samantha Peden, Danielle Peden, Benjamin Bowman, and Miabella Delaney-Lipshutz. She was preceded in death by her sister Viola Jane Hellyer. Marge was a graduate of Germantown High School and worked for the Times Herald Newspaper as an administrative assistant for 15 years. She was an active member of Plymouth Valley Community Church for 60 years, and a volunteer at Montgomery Hospital. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading and the arts. Marge was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.
