Obituary of Mary Messa

MESSA, MARY J. on November 29, 2008 of Lansdale. Age 85. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW, a foster grandparent with New Life Youth and Family Services and a volunteer teacher in the literacy program at Graterford Prison for 28 years.

Beloved wife of the late Frederick E. Messa, Sr. Loving mother of Joseph, Fred, David & George Messa, Beverly Prigge, Margaret White, and the late Francis Messa. Also survived by her sister, Margaret Mayer, 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor''s choice.
