Mary Jane Reid, 93, of Lansdale, Pennsylvania, passed away on May 19, 2024. She was born on November 20, 1930, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Carrie (Eckhardt) and George Washington Elmer Mains.

Mary Jane was preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy Dolt and Ethel Gallagher, and her brother, Franklin Mains. She began her career at Honeywell after graduating from high school, where she met her beloved husband, Hugh Reid. Mary Jane had a passion for history, collecting coins, and cherished moments spent going out to lunch with her daughters. She adored spending time with her grandchildren and spoiling her great-grandchildren. She made the best grilled cheese sandwiches.

Mary Jane is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Eileen and Chip Everhardt, and Sheila and Domenic Mirto, her grandchildren, Augustus and Christopher and Jennifer Everhardt (Kransbluky), and her great-grandchildren, Lillian and Tyler Everhardt.

Services for Mary Jane will be held at Kirk and Nice Funeral Home, George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Ave, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. Visitation will begin at 12 noon, followed by a memorial service and interment
