Mary Anne (Johnson) Tenboom, age 76, wife of Jan Tenboom of Havertown, PA, died on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at her home.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward S. and Alice (Thayer) Johnson.

She was a graduate of Overbrook High School, class of 1962.

On June 26, 1976, she married Jan Tenboom.

She was a data entry operator for many years until her retirement in 2010.

She was a member of Lower Merion Baptist Church in Bryn Mawr and was a volunteer at Surrey Services for Seniors in Havertown.

She enjoyed crossword and picture puzzles, needlepoint, sewing, baking, and watching television.

In addition to her beloved husband, Mary Anne is survived by;

Daughters:

Patricia Tenboom-Byrnes of San Diego, CA, Theresa Alice McCausland of Upper darby, PA, and Corrie Marie Tenboom of Havertown, PA.

Grandchildren:

Natasha and Bryce Byrnes

Sisters:

Betty Pribula, who was Mary Anne's fraternal twin sister of Pacific Grove, CA, and Peggy Hewitt of Dayton, OH

Cousins:

Burton Todd, and Dr. Mary Murphy

She is also survived by various nieces and nephews

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the Heritage Chapel of George Washington Memorial Park at 11:00 AM with Rev. Angel Pagan officiating. A visitation will be held in the chapel from 10:30 AM.

Please return with the family to Lower Merion Baptist Church, 911 New Gulph Rd., Bryn Mawr, PA 19010 for a luncheon following the service.
