Obituary

Michael "Mickey" Radatti passed away suddenly at home in Conshohocken, PA on April 18, 2021 at the age of 84.  Born in Conshohocken, PA on May 12, 1936, he was the youngest son of the late Dominic and Anna (Siletta) Radatti.

Mickey was a lifetime resident of Conshohocken, PA and 1954 graduate of Conshohocken High School where he played football and was voted Best Class Athlete.  Upon graduating, he opted to serve honorably in the United States Marine Corps, earning multiple medals for his exemplary service.  Mickey took his love of football and played with the Conshohocken Steelers well into his 50s where he was known as "The Iron Man".  He then continued coaching the team until he was nearly 70 years old.

He spent much of his later life working for the Borough of Conshohocken, earlier years as a Conshohocken Police Officer and younger years at Alan Wood Steel.  When not working, he enjoyed a good cup of coffee, and of course watching football at every opportunity with his rescue dogs, Bleu and Willie.  Mickey was extremely proud of his service as a Marine and would happily bend your ear to tell you tales of his time in the service.  Most of all, Mickey was well known for his sense of humor and brought laughter to anyone and everyone he met.

Mickey is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Jeannie (Norman) Radatti; children Suzanne (Richard) Sirchie, Michael (Lori) Radatti, Mark (Dawn) Radatti, Matt Radatti, Michele (Don) Hannum, Lea (Justin) Lindsey, Gregg (Jen) Derago, Beth (Nick) DeLuca, Drew (Sri) Pradeep; and known as "Mickey Pop" to his grandchildren Andrew Sirchie, Summer (Jamie) Dunn, Bally Radatti, Alex & Luke Bujno, Alexander, Drew, Worthy & Keagan Lindsey, Kendall & Harper DeLuca, Maya & Coletyn Hannum, and Soren & Devin Pradeep.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Vincent "Sonny" Radatti.
