Michael A. Wrightson, age 65 of Lafayette Hill, PA passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 18, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Philadelphia to the late Joseph and Barbara (nee: Schmidt) Wrightson, Michael was a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School. He earned his bachelor's degree in computer science from Temple University; he took pride in his contribution to the Philadelphia School's network as a network engineer for Extreme Networks.

Michael was an active person, known for being an avid cyclist. His presence was always known with the sound of jazz playing in the room. Above all else, Michael loved to be with his family.

Son of the late Joseph and Barbara (nee: Schmidt) Wrightson, Michael is survived by his devoted wife, Margaret (nee: Hosgood) Wrightson; loving sons, Eric Wrightson and Matthew Wrightson; cherished sisters, Susan (Supowitz), Barbara (Glenn), Carol (Ulman) and brothers, Joe and Paul; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Michael's visitation from 11 AM until noon on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at Kirk and Nice Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be held following visitation. Michael will be laid to rest at George Washington Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Michael's name may be made to the ALS association (als.org).
