Miriam (Sis) E Cohan, Brelsford, Valentine passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 13, 2025 at home with her daughters she was 93.
Born at home in Norristown to Miriam and Ellsworth Brelsford. Miriam graduated AD Eisenhower High School class of 1950. She worked in Philadelphia at the Baptist Convention then Lansdale Tube until she married the love of her life Thomas Valentine in 1952. They started a family having four children. Cindy Pennington (Wade dec.), Judith Ready (Thomas), Thomas Valentine (Carol) and Patti Valentine of whom she lived with. Miriam was very proud of her large family. Her grandchildren Theodore Riggin, Thomas Ready III (Holly), John Ready (Trisha), Dawn Cottrell (Aaron), Tammy Ready (Mandi), Thomas Valentine Jr (Su), Sacha Cornish (Kevin), Matt Valentine and Michael Marriner (Amanda). Great-Grandchildren Thomas Ready IV, Cheyenne Bohn (Patrick), Mariah Cottrell, Aaron Cottrell Jr, Shawn Morris Jr (Valerie), Ryan Ready, Devon Cornish, John Ready Jr, Tyler Ready, Logan Morris and Victoria Riggin. Miriam was blessed with three Great-Great Grandchildren Clementine, Patrick Jr and Phillip Bohn. Preceding in death by her parents, Her husbands Thomas Valentine, John Cohan and her lovely Granddaughter Sherri Morris.
Miriam enjoyed watching TV especially General Hospital each day. She looked forward to go visit her son and family down the New Jersey Shore. Patti and Miriam would go to Atlantic City Casinos to see shows also Lancaster and Bethlehem Musik Fest for concerts and shows. Miriam looked forward for days spent with her daughters shopping and eating out. She loved to travel and enjoyed music, watching Lawrence Welk every Saturday night. Spending time with her family was very special to her. She often said how grateful she was to have such a wonderful family.
Friends and family are invited to gather on Saturday, September 6th, 2025 from 10:30AM to 12:00PM at Kirk & Nice, Inc. 80 Stenton Avenue Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462 followed by a service at 12:00PM
