Obituary of Morton Vallow
Morton J. Vallow M.D., age 89, died on August 18 2015 at home in Blue Bell PA. Son of Sarah and Nathan Vallow. Beloved husband of Ingeborg Gerber M.D., father to Kristen N. Vallow, Kara E. Vallow (Mark Douglas), Erik J. Vallow (Susan), and brother to Ethel Vanlandingham and Hebert Vallow. Also survived by grandchildren; Noah, Elli and Nathan Vallow.
Mort was raised by Miriam and Joe Bolnick on their farm in Elmer NJ. He is a graduate of Central High School, University of Scranton and Jefferson Medical College.
Mort served in Europe during WWII, where his unit fought the Battle of the Bulge. He loved classical music, the Phillies, tennis and cats. As an Ob-Gyn he delivered and was loved by three generations of Philadelphians. His proudest accomplishments are his three children and his tomatoes.
