Obituary of Myrtle Rapp

MYRTLE I. RAPP, (NEE Trowell), age 89 on May 16, 2008 of West Chester, formerly of Glenolden. Wife of the late Stanley W. Rapp, Sr. Beloved mother of Stanley W. Jr. (Annmarie), George C. (June), and John R. Rapp (Susan). Grandmother of Tina M. Roberts, great grandmother of Becca and Tommy Roberts and adopted grandmother of Erica and Victoria Carlson. Also survived by a sister Claire Means (Robert).

Mrs. Rapp was a resident of Glenolden for over 50 years. She served as Glenolden''s Borough Secretary for 10 years. Prior to that she worked for the Interboro School District. Her interests included the Glenolden Fire Company where she recognized as a Lifetime Member and music, having recorded as a vocalist with the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra.

Mrs. Rapp was a Past Matron in the Order of the Eastern Star and was a member of the Order of the Amaranth.
