Nam Hee Min, age 63, of Blue Bell, PA passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Einstein Montgomery Medical Center, East Norriton.
Nam Hee Min was born on February 1, 1957 in Gimpo-si city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea to father, Dong Ik Min and mother, Jung Hee Namjung. He graduated from Chungryang High School in 1976 and attended Sanji University studying business and economics. He immigrated to the United States in 1985. He married Hee Yon Kwak on September 7, 1991. He attended church throughout his life and consistently attended Korean United Church of Philadelphia for the last 18 years of his life. He worked in produce, beauty supply, and mainly seafood businesses throughout his career. He then built his own business, Crab & Claw Seafood Inc. in 2007. He enjoyed writing poems, gardening, playing golf, singing and playing the guitar and drums. More than anything he really thrived being a host. He loved to cook for people, talk with people, and listen to music together. In all aspects, he found joy in life and shared his love generously.
Nam Hee Min is preceded in death by father, Dong Ik Min and mother, Jung Hee Namjung.
He is survived by daughter, Sarah Hyang-Na Min, son, Andrew Hyang-Kue Min, sister, Choon Hee Min, sister, Pil Mi Min, sister, Sook Ja Min, brother, Deog Hee Min, nephew, Greg Chong-Kyu Kim, niece, Liz Chong-Um Briones, niece, Grace Hyang-Mo Kim, niece, Joyce Hyang-Bin Kim, nephew, Daniel Dong-Joon Suh, niece, Rebecca Hyang-Che Jung, nephew, Christian Dong-Woo Suh, nephew Samuel Hyang-Kwon Min.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his viewing on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the Heritage Chapel of George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Ave., Plymouth Meeting, PA. Services will begin at 10:00 AM and viewing from 10:45 AM to 11:30 AM. Burial to follow at George Washington Memorial Park.
