Obituary of Nanette Marcy

Nanette S. (nee Strawbridge) age 57, peacefully at home surrounded by her family, on October 19, 2015. Devoted wife of Gary E. Marcy. Loving mother of Madeleine Beth, Samuel Todd and Olivia Grace (Matthew). Daughter of Joyce (nee Trauger) Strawbridge and the late Edward R. Strawbridge. Sister of Joy Walter, Susan Reisman, Beth Strawbridge, Heather Strawbridge, Sandra Strawbridge and Fred Strawbridge. Nanette is also survived by the pets she so loved, Dogs, Scout, Tucker, Peanut and her cats, Behr and Shadow. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial visitation, Sunday October 25, 2015 beginning at 12 Noon, at the Kirk & Nice Funeral Home, 80 Stenton Avenue, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. (On the grounds of the George Washington Memorial Park), followed by her Memorial Service at 1:00 PM. Reception to follow at the Ace Country Club, 800 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444. In lieu of flowers the family requests donation be made in Nanette''s Memory to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Interment Private

Our Nanette, sweet and sassy! Beautiful,loyal and true. She loved her dear husband, children, family and pets. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and a dear friend. She gave us " the time of her life". Now we will honor her, by treasuring her memory, being strong, as she was and going on. Her star shines bright in the heaven above.
