Obituary of Patricia Stephani

PATRICIA KRESGE STEPHANI on October 26, 2008 of Kennett Square, PA formerly of Glen Riddle, PA. Her husband of 56 years, Richard and daughters Pamela of Chadds Ford, PA and Candy of Glen Riddle, PA, survives Patte. A sister, Marlene Ryder of Aston and brothers H. Carter Kresge of Wilmington, DE and Randall Kresge of Springfield, PA also survive her . She was the daughter of the late Howard and Irene Kresge.

Before relocating to Kansas City, MO, Houston, TX and Winter Springs, FL, Mrs. Stephani worked in Chester and then Media as a secretary and then as an agent in real estate. She enjoyed the road rallies and social events at Rose Tree Motor Club and the Brandywine Motor Club. Mrs. Stephanie also enjoyed entertaining from casual cookouts, holiday parties, to dinners for international visitors at Westinghouse.

Throughout their moves, Mrs. Stephani relished staying in touch with her friends and family and making new friends. She was an active member of the Chester High School Class of 1950 and appreciated all the good wishes from their recent reunion. She was an avid photographer of their cats, family, and landscapes and greatly enjoyed the beauty and many events at Longwood Gardens following their return to Pennsylvania in 1994. She also enjoyed singing and never stopped learning to play the piano.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to either Chester County Hospital, West Chester, PA or the Tyler Arboretum would be appreciated.
