Obituary of Peggyann Young

YOUNG, PEGGYANN, of Willow Grove, on November 29, 2008.

Peggyann was an active member of the Willow Grove Baptist Church and an avid traveler. Her favorite places were Hawaii and New Hampshire. She was a devoted and frequent volunteer in her daughter''s kindergarten class at Ft. Washington Elementary School, and was the inspiration for the program "Coins For the Cure" and was very involved in fundraising and activities for this program. She was involved in cancer research activities and used her sickness to help the lives of others and raise awareness about ovarian cancer. She wanted to be a testimony to others suffering from this disease by continuously helping others, just as she did before getting sick.

Beloved wife of Archie. Loving mother of the late Carol Ann, Steven, Robert (Lynne), and Nancy. Devoted grandmother of Megan. Also survived by her brothers, Thomas and Ronald, and sister, Nancy.
