Rebecca Cookson Senick (aka "Cookie") died unexpectedly in Las Vegas Nevada on August 1, 2019. Cookie was traveling at the time, as usual, with her husband of 55 years, Girard "Jerry" Senick. She was born in Pottsville on June 28, 1942 to the late Clarence and Ester (Reed) Cookson.

Cookie married Jerry in January of 1964 and the two young teachers soon settled down in Warrington, Pennsylvania and raised a family together. Cookie is survived by her husband Jerry; daughter Jennifer; son Timothy (and spouse Jenny); and grandson, five year old Ethan Sebastian.

Cookie was an amazing wife, mother, teacher, artist, world traveler, and businesswoman. She has made her family proud. She loved animals and always had pets. She has touched lives in her community and all over the globe during her many adventures with Jerry. She will be missed by many.

All are invited on Friday, August 9, 2019 to the Heritage Chapel at George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Ave. Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462 for a viewing from 10-11am and a service at 11am. Interment at the cemetery to follow.
