Renee Scott Kerrin was born in April 6, 1917 in Reading, PA., the youngest of three children born to the late Keim and Beatrice Scott. She attended the public schools in Reading and Philadelphia, graduating from Lincoln College Preparatory School in June, 1963. Renee enrolled in the University of Pennsylvania's School of Vocational Education intending to teach sewing, but enjoying her position as librarian assistant in the Free Library, she decided that was what she wanted to do. Renee was formerly married to Roland Kerrin. she was a lifelong member of St. Barnabas/St. Luke's Churches. Her hobbies were sewing, reading, playing cards, and she loved movies.
She leaves to mourn her niece Judith Battle, first cousin Cora Baily, three great nephews and their families, two Goddaughters, and other loving relatives and friends.
All are invited to a memorial service for Renee on Thursday, June 28, at 11:00am, held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 5421 Germantown Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19144. Interment in the church cemetery to follow.
