Obituary

Richard "Dick" Hodge passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at his residence in North Wales, PA.  He was 83 years old, born on August 17, 1937 in Bryn Mawr, PA to the late George and Dorothy (Town) Hodge.

A resident of North Wales, PA, he spent his working life transporting materials in the construction industry.

Dick served honorably in the United States Air Force, earning the rank of Airman before being discharged and beginning his civilian life where he met and married his wife, Sandra.

Dick is survived by his wife, Sandra (Westerfer) Hodge; children Richard (Paula) Hodge Jr., George Hodge, Paul Hodge, Tina Hodge (Dave Laserre), and Cynthia (Donahue) Hodge; eight grandchildren Kelly, Karen, Candace, Marky, George Jr., Tina Marie, Tiffany and Steven; one great-grandbaby, and many other friends and family.

A funeral service will be held at the Heritage Chapel located on the grounds of George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Ave., Plymouth Meeting, PA  19462 on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 11:30 AM.  Friends and guests are welcome to visit with the family from 10:30 to 11:30 AM.   Burial will be at the George Washington Memorial Park immediately following the service.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, those attending will be required to wear a facemask covering both your mouth and nose, and social distancing will be strongly encouraged.  There is a state mandated restriction on the number of people permitted to be inside of the chapel at any one time, so please be patient if you have to wait for others to leave before you are allowed to enter.
