Richard S. Kennedy, age 80 of Perkasie, PA passed away in his home on Thursday, August 20, 2026.

Richard was born in Abington, PA on November 24, 1945 to the late James and Julia (nee: Pronchick) Kennedy. He went to high school at Abington High and graduated in 1964. He went on to earn a Bachelors Degree in Engineering from LaSalle University. He worked as a Manufacturing Engineer for Air-Shields for over 35 years. He enjoyed hunting, golfing and tinkering with electronics.

Richard is survived by his loving wife Barbara (nee: Pawling) Kennedy; his children, Kimberly Mumma, Michael Kennedy and Matthew Kennedy, his grandchildren Samantha and Joshua Mumma and his Great-grandson Killian Riley. He is also survived by his sister Margaret (Margie) Schwegel and many nieces and nephews including his Godson Jeff Kennedy.  He is preceded in death by his brother, James Kennedy.

Funeral service will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
