Robert B. Cox, age 80 of Cheltenham, PA passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 peacefully in his home.

Son of the late James Newtown and Edna Delores (D'Orzio) Cox. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Cynthia L. Cox; beloved children, Catrinna, Heather, Joshua and Rebecca; cherished grandchildren, Victoria, Justin, Evelyn, Monica, JT and Sophie; precious siblings, James, Edward, Sharon, and Debra; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Born in Collingswood, NJ Robert was a lifelong resident of Philadelphia and Cheltenham, PA. Robert served as a proud US Army Veteran in the Vietnam War. After which he became a longtime member of the Steamfitters local Union 420 up until his retirement. After his retirement, he spent many wonderful years at Ancillae-Assumpta Academy as their Maintenance Coordinator. There he was loved by the entire staff and kids who gave him the name "Bob the Builder". His title was well deserved given his tireless effort in constructing sets for their Spring Show and many other school events.

While deployed overseas, he met his loving wife Cynthia. Robert and Cynthia were married in Maryland, after his service, and were devoted to each other for 57 blessed years. Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He loved to play golf, fish, garden and loved the game of baseball, especially Detroit Tigers.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Robert's graveside service with military honors at noon on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at the George Washington Memorial Park.
