Obituary of Robert Davis

Robert L. Davis "Bob" from Ardsley, PA on April 23, 2015. Age 92. He was an active member of Chelten Baptist Church. Bob retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad as a freight conductor and drove a school bus for Springfield Township. A US Navy veteran, he served for 6 years during WWII. His last ship was the USS Orca. Beloved husband of the late Anna "Nancy" Davis. Loving father of Peggy Campbell (David) of Chambersburg, PA, Lyle Scott Davis (Janet) of Greenwood, DE, and Sally Heine (Andy). Also survived by 7 grandchildren: David Campbell (Sherry), Ricky Campbell, Nancy Dunn (Sean), Jonathon Davis (Bambi), Laura Davis, Janet Williams (Kevin) and Bob Heine (Kim) and 2 great grandchildren: Darren Campbell and Penelope Dunn. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Rob Campbell. Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service on Tuesday, April 28th at 11 am at Chelten: A Church of Hope, 1601 Limekiln Pike, Dresher, PA where friends may call from 10 am. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park.
