Robert C. Dieter (Bob), age 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 26, 2022.

He was born in Philadelphia, PA, the son of the late Ellwood and Emily (Muench) Dieter.

In his very early childhood, his mother Emily passed away and he was lovingly raised by his Step-Mother Mildred (Frankenfield), who is also deceased.

He was a graduate of Germantown High School and Drexel University where he received his bachelor's in accounting.

He served 2 years in the U.S. Army and was stationed at Ft. McPherson in Atlanta, GA.

He worked his entire life as an Accountant, retiring from FMC Corporation in Philadelphia.

Bob was always active in his childhood church; Trinity Lutheran in Germantown.

Bob enjoyed gardening, spending time with his nieces and nephews, going out to eat, and the Philadelphia Orchestra.

Bob is survived by his brother Lloyd Dieter and his wife Patti, and his nieces and nephews, Carol, Gary, Denise, and Scott. He is also survived by grand nieces and nephews, Justin, Megan, and Nicole.

Bob was preceded in death by his brother George, his sister-in-law Nancy, and niece Barbara.

A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Ivy Hill Cemetery, Philadelphia.
