Obituary of Robert Hook
Robert R. Hook of Philadelphia passed away at his home on Saturday, October 18, 2008. The son of the deceased Roberta R. and William L. Hook, he was 81 years of age. A graduate of Northeast High School, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Upon his return from active service, he enrolled at Temple University and obtained a degree in education. His entire career was spent as a teacher in the Neshaminy School District from which he retired. Bob was a member of Somerton United Methodist Church for over 60 years where he taught Sunday School, was President of their Methodist Men's group as well as involved in many other of the church activities. Bob was a volunteer at Warminister Hospital and was a member of the Southampton Square Club, Masonic Lodge No. 717 Harry A. Houseman, and Valley of Allentown Scottish Rite Freemasons.
