Obituary of Robert Moore

Robert Guthrie Moore, 78, passed away peacefully on August 23. Beloved husband of Shirley (Deane) Moore, their 53 years of marriage were the joy of Bob's life. He cherished his three daughters, Patricia, Susan, and Kathleen, who were enriched by his love and encouragement. A wonderful father-in-law, granddad, brother and uncle, Bob was a hard-working, self-made man of gentle humor and generosity. He enjoyed a successful career in the investment field and pursued a passion for real estate in retirement. Bob had countless friends and served his community in a variety of capacities, from school board to soup kitchen. We will miss his warmth, his love, and his guidance.
