Robert C. Roebuck age 81 of Pottstown PA passed away 10/26/2023 after a brief illness of pneumonia and influenza.

Robert was born on 9/19/1942 to Ernest and Marta Roebuck in Abington PA. He went to  Wilkes Barre college and Michigan State for his Masters in teaching. After graduating he started his first job at Penhurst then Norristown State Hospital for 29 plus years.

He met his wife Carolanne at a barbershop quartet rehearsal and they were married for 30 years. He retired 2003 to start enjoying his activities. Robert was involved in the local theater, barber shop quartet, elks club and he was very much involved in the restoration of the carousal. Robert did all the sanding of the animals on the carousal.  He was very much involved in the collection of antique Victrola.

He is survived by his loving wife Carolanne, his brother Ernest G. Roebuck Jr. (Barbara), nephews and nieces Eric Dorfler, Janet Dorfler, Emma, Mellissa, Amanda (Tony) Jacobson, Andrew (Jenn) Jamie, Bart, and Ernest III.

Services will be held at Kirk and Nice Funeral Home on 11/2/2023 at 10 AM and burial to follow at George Washington Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Pottstown Public Library.
