Robert (Bob) L. Smith, Jr. on November 28, 2024 of Philadelphia (Chestnut Hill), PA, passed away peacefully at home at the age of 79.

Born in Philadelphia and a graduate of Great Valley High School, Bob was a proud business owner of Fleet Instruments. Above all else, he was a devoted husband, father and pop-pop. Always staying active, he enjoyed home projects, making his infamous homemade granola, nuts and croutons, and helping friends and neighbors.

He was the son of the late Robert L. Smith, Sr. and Marie (nee Goglia). Bob was the devoted husband of Donna (nee Sammartino) Smith for 60 years and father of Kelly Dunning (Matt), Cynthia Smith (Evan Welsh) and Scott Smith (Kirsten Landreth) and grandfather of Tyler (Sara) and Gabby Dunning, Alex and Anna Welsh and great-grandfather to Ryker Dunning. Bob is also survived by his sisters Anne Marie (Jack) McMonagle, Barbara Ferry, Deidre (Randy) Holland and his brother Richard (Debi) Smith.

Relatives and friends are invited on Friday, December 6; 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Kirk & Nice Funeral Home at George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Ave., Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.
