Robert Sykes, Sr

May 8, 1933-May 4, 2022

Bob was called safely home to heaven on May 4, 2022 at the age of 88, with his wife, Elaine, and his children, by his peaceful side.  He was the husband of Elaine (Boles) for 69 years, and the father of Bob Jr (Kathy) and Leslie Finnegan (John); loving grandfather of Heather, Amber, Shaun, Shannon, and Sean; great-grandfather of 4 boys:  Ryan, Liam, Logan, and Cameron.

Bob was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army.  He worked for Morris Wheeler for over 30 years, and finally retired from Keystone Boiler Works.  Bob was past President of Lenape Bowmen where he made many friends, sharing his love of archery and the outdoors.  After retirement, he bowled twice a week with the Norristown Seniors League. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Bob's graveside service on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 11:00 AM at George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting, PA.
