Obituary of Robin White
Robin D. White of Philadelphia, on September 18, 2012. Son of the late Richard and Odessa White, he was born at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia on July 21, 1963. Robin attended St. Stephen's Catholic School and graduated from Muriel Dobbins Vocational School. He was a truck driver who held a CDL and worked for Old Dominion, Dollar Tree, Towing Unlimited and Coca Cola Bottling Company for 10 years. He was a hard-working man who spent his free time riding motorcycles, jet skiing, scuba diving and traveling. Some of his many adventures included traveling to Puerto Rico, the Caribbean Islands, Florida, and all across the United States. Robin had many friends and had a great sense of humor. He was a devoted family man who enjoyed cooking. He lived by the motto: "Eat like kings, live like slobs." Robin enjoyed irritating his oldest brother, Jerome and spending time with his brother, Ty and holding his mother hostage on the phone at early hours in the morning. Survivors including his mother, Odessa are: his sons Nathaniel White and Eric White and their mother Carmen Rivera; his daughter, Janay Rodriguez; his step- daughters: Sacoya King & Tasha Brooks; brothers Jerome and Tyrone DeMelo; his adopted sister Patricia Carrigan. He was preceded in death by his companion, Audrey Brooks.
