Ron D. Washington of Philadelphia passed away on 11 June, 2020 at the age of 75.

A former officer in the United States Marine Corps, Ron always loved being a Marine and served his country proudly.  "The other branches have a song, but the Marine Corps has a hymn."

At the age of 44, Ron graduated from LaSalle College, Cum Laude.  He worked several jobs but his favorite was his role as a social worker, counseling in correctional institutes.

Ron is survived by his loving sister, Gloria Simon and his brother, Victor Booth.  He is also survived by two sons; Ron Jr., and Warren; daughter-in-law Monique; and four beloved grandchildren.  He also leaves behind loving friends and relatives.

Funeral services entrusted to Kirk and Nice, Inc. will be held in the Heritage Chapel at George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Ave., Plymouth Meeting, PA  19462.  Attendance will be limited due to the current health crisis.  A celebration of Ron's life will take place at a later date.
