Obituary
Dr. Rulin Tung, M
D., 85, of Ambler, Pennsylvania, passed away on April 23rd, 2022.
Rulin was born in Fuzhou, China. She later graduated near the top of her medical class from National Taiwan University and then moved to Boston. After marrying her lifelong partner, Chi, they moved to Pennsylvania, and started a family.
In Pennsylvania, she joined Chestnut Hill Hospital and remained until retirement. She went on to serve as Director of Pathology for 35 years and dedicated her life to improving the lives of so many. Outside of work, she loved dancing, mahjong, really really spicy food, and her grandchildren most of all.
Rulin is survived by her loving husband, Chi, her children, Ramona & Chris, and her wonderful grandchildren, Jason, Lauren, Leah & Alex ... who will miss her more than words could ever convey.
No events are planned except a private viewing for immediate family.
As an alternative to sending flowers, you may donate to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in her honor as a breast cancer survivor.
