S. Herbert Raynes III, 73, passed away on July 10, 2017. He was born in Davenport, IA on Dec. 16, 1943 to the late Jean (Nick) and S. Herbert Raynes II. He was the loving husband of Linda (Sheppard) Raynes for 35 years. He earned his B.S. from Drexel University and was an Army and Vietnam veteran. He was an avid photographer, member of the Valley Forge Ski Club, supported the Highlands Historical Society, loved to BBQ, and was known as a gadget man.

He is survived by his wife; children Andrew (Lindsay) and Christopher (Lindsay); grandchildren Grayson and Lily; sister Virginia Lund (Erik); nephews Erik and Michael; niece Katey; and many other loving family and friends.

All are invited to a visitation on Saturday, July 15 from 11:00am-1:00pm and a memorial service at 1:00pm, both at Cold Point Baptist Church, 5063 Militia Hill Rd. Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the church.
