Obituary

Charles T. & Crystal L Pinyard, and Elizabeth Willet regretfully announce the peaceful passing from this world, of our mother, and mother-in-law, Sandra H. Pinyard, on Friday, February 18th at the age of 83. Sandy was married to Charles T. Pinyard, Sr. in 1958, but was widowed when he preceded her death on November 13 th , 1991.

Born June 23 rd , 1938 in Roxborough, Philadelphia, PA. The third child of her parents Harry and Ruth Miller Herion, both deceased, as is her sister Norma Palmer. She is survived by her eldest sister, Ruth Croasdale, three grandchildren, Charles Pinyard III, Rachael Willet, and Tori Pinyard, as well as her two children, Charles and Elizabeth.

Mom was an interesting woman. She could make people laugh as well as piss them off. Either way, she was memorable. A graduate of Roxborough High, Sandy was smart, and worked hard as a legal secretary and assistant for most of her career. Mom also worked as the Plymouth Valley neighborhood Avon Lady for many years, and participated in local politics. Please remember Mom for all of the rescue Yorkshire Terriers that she took in. Often these were dogs that were older and required veterinary care. But she never hesitated to finance their healthcare and provide a loving home that they otherwise would not have had. She loved her Yorkies.

Funeral services and interment will be privately held.

In lieu of flowers, we request donations in Mom's name to:

United Yorkie Rescue ( www.uyr.us ) Or,
Brenda's Cat Rescue ( www.brendascatrescue.org )
