Stephen Arnold Unger DDS, age 82 of Audubon, PA passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.

Steve was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Harold and Ruth (Tishler) Unger on March 6, 1944. He went to high school at Central High School and graduated in 1962. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from The University of Connecticut in 1966 and his doctorate in dental surgery from Temple University School of Dentistry. He worked as a dentist at his own dental practice in Chestnut Hill, PA for 34 years. He enjoyed wood working, rock climbing, bicycling, hiking, and playing piano.

Steve is survived by his wife, Esther Yassi, his son, Clay Plager-Unger, his daughter, Rose McClave, his four grandchildren, Sol, Luna, Olivia, and Rory, and his sister, Judith Unger.
