Steven R. Baum, age 65 of Norristown, passed away on May 28, 2023 in Norristown.

Born on May 13, 1958 in Norristown, he was the son of the late John and Frances (Hennessey) Baum.

He was a graduate of Norristown Area High School, class of 1976.

Steven was a plant operator for Glasgow, Inc, a heavy and highway construction company and materials producer for many years until his retirement.

He enjoyed playing street and ice hockey, a die hard Flyers, and Philadelphia Union fan, and anything sports related including throwing darts. Reading books, especially Michael Creighton novels, eating spicy foods, and his cats were also dear to him.

Steven is survived by his 2 sisters, Carol J. Baum of Collegeville, and Janet, wife of Gary Hodge of Plymouth Meeting. 3 nephews, Jason, husband of Kristen, Ryan, and Evan. 1 great niece, Paige.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Steven's graveside service on Friday, June 16, 2023 at 11:30 AM at George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Avenue, Plymouth Meeting, PA.
