Suk Ja Han, 85, of Lower Moreland, PA, passed away on November 15, 2023
in Jeanes Hospital.
Funeral service will be held at Kirk & Nice Funeral Home on November 20,
2023 at 11AM with Reverend Jin Kyu Park of The Korean United Church of
Philadelphia officiating. Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial
Park, 80 Stenton Ave, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. Visitation will be held at
Kirk & Nice Funeral Home on November 20, 2023 at 10AM prior to the funeral
service. Kirk & Nice Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.
Suk Ja Han was born in Hwang Hae Do, Korea to Yahk Seul Kim and Hee
Sung Kim on February 21,1938. She went to So high school and graduated.
Prior to the Korean War she helped her parents move the family from the
northern part to the southern part of Korea. In 1963 she was wed to husband
Jae Joo Han. She then immigrated with her husband and her children to the
United States in 1985. She worked as a fashion designer for many years. She
enjoyed learning, reading, and caring for her siblings, children, and
grandchildren. She was a loving mother, devout Christian and member of the
Korean United Church of Philadelphia and donated to their missionary work.
Suk Ja Han is survived by her children, Yong Han (Mi Ran), Kon Han (Hyung
Ok Lee), Hyo Sun Han (Paul Yi); grandchildren,Grace Vergilio (Stephen),
Andrew Han, Gene Han, Caleb Yi and Noah Yi; siblings, Jin Woong Kim
(Jung Sook),Duk Woong Kim (Hae Kyong), Nak Woong Kim (Young Ae);
nephews, Pan Suk Kim, David Kim, Chris Myungsuk Kim, Eric Hyungsuk Kim;
and Nieces, Nam Hee Kim, Esther Kim (Edward Choo). She is preceded in
death by her husband, Jae Joo Han.
