Susan Snyder Johnson went home to Jesus on September 21, 2019 at age 65.

Susan was born to Charles and Susanne Snyder on September 25, 1953 in Chestnut Hill, PA. When she was young, she enjoyed spending time with her sisters, Kathy and Betsy, and their German Shepherd, Duchess.  Highlights from childhood include family trips to the shore, cheerleading, and being a majorette.

Susan met her husband, Elmer Johnson at church. They married on September 23, 1978 and raised three daughters, Jodi, Rebekah and Stephanie in Woodbridge, NJ until relocating to the mid-West in 1982.

In addition to being a loving wife and mother, Susan was extremely dedicated and hard-working.  While raising her children in Fort Wayne, IN, she successfully ran her own childcare business and, after relocating back to the east coast in 1999, she drove a school bus for Parkland School District until 2013.  Throughout her adult life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.

Susan joins her parents, Charles and Susanne, and her daughter, Stephanie, in Heaven. She is survived by her husband, Elmer, her sisters: Kathy and Betsy, her daughters: Jodi and Rebekah, and her grandchildren: Taylor, Logan, Reece, Lia, Parker, Hayden, Eli, and Lyla.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Susan on Wednesday, October 2, 2019.  Calling will begin at 10 AM followed by memorial and graveside services at 11 AM at Calvary Bible Fellowship Church, 6782 N. Main Street, Coopersburg, PA 18036.
