Obituary of Susan Ross

ROSS, Susan L. (nee Lipskin), of Chestnut Hill, passed away November 26, 2009, of ovarian cancer. She was 53 years old. Susan was an active member of the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Chapter of the ALS Association. ALS (Lou Gehrig''s disease) had previously claimed the lives of her mother and sister. Susan also was a member of the Random Garden Club and, until resigning recently, the Ninth Ward Democratic Committee. She was a dedicated employee of Henkels & McCoy in Blue Bell, serving as a manager and contracts administrator. Susan is survived by her husband, Andrew Ross, her daughter, Louisa Diane Ross, as well as her father, Bernard Lipskin. She was preceded in death by her mother, Diane Lipskin, and her sister, Beth Ann Lipskin. Memorial service arrangements are pending. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Philadelphia Chapter of the ALS Association at 321 Norristown Rd., Suite 260, Ambler, PA 19002.
