Sydney Carolyn Hoppe, 24, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on March 16, 2021. She is survived by her parents and her twin sister Jackie. Sydney was born in Abington, Pennsylvania, to Lisa Formica and Thad Hoppe on August 21, 1996.

She attended The Meadowbrook School and Rydal Elementary School, and later graduated from Abington High School in 2015 where she was an honors student. She went on to work at fmi inc. and represented the third generation of the company which her grandmother had founded. Sydney was a warmhearted, generous, and free-spirited individual. She loved traveling, cooking and baking, spending time with her friends, and meeting new people. She was an animal advocate and introduced many friends to the wonders of vegan food, specifically at one of her favorite restaurants: Bar Bombón. Sydney was also interested in interior design and had a knack for choosing apartments with infinity pools. No one can replace Sydney's sense of humor and compassion, and although her life was all too brief, she lived on her own terms as an independent thinker who was wise and insightful beyond her years. Sydney, we love and miss you more than you could ever imagine.
