Obituary of Theresa Mills

Theresa Marie Mills (nee Perrino) on July 6, 2013. Daughter of the late Allesio and Cosime Perrino. Wife of 57 years to the late Daniel Mills, Sr. Mother to Danalle Van Istendal (Edward), Daniel Mills, Jr. (Lisa), Denise Mills (John Tocydlowski), grandmother to 7 and great grandmother to 2.

Always proud of her Italian heritage and South Philadelphia roots, Tess lived in Hatboro for over 50 years before moving to Ann's Choice complex in Warminster, where she passed. She loved to tell of her service to the US Navy's WWII efforts, working at the Johnsville Naval Air Station where she met her husband. She found it ironic that the very site where they met would years later house the facility to which she retired, after his passing.

She enjoyed writing poetry and listening to music; learning to play both the organ and the guitar, later in life. She will be remembered for her generous ways, her caring nature and her unconditional love for her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may gather from 10 am on Thursday July 11th at Ann's Choice Retirement Community Chapel, 20,000 Ann's Choice Way, Warminster, PA where services will be held at 11:30 am. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Plymouth Meeting, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Tess' memory to the Hospice Care Program at Abington Memorial Hospital.
