Obituary of Tony Van Brakel
Melchior Anthony Van Brakel "Tony" went to be with his Lord on Saturday, March 16, 2013. He was born in Holland on November 25, 1931, and immigrated to the United States in 1957. Surviving are his beloved wife of 56 years, Hissy, two brothers , John and Haydee Van Brakel, Cornelius and Janie Van Brakel, two sisters Mary Beekman and Nelly Felix; and sisters and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation 230 E. Ohio St. Suite 304, Chicago, IL 60611-3201 or Knox Presbyterian Church, 311 N. Lansdowne Ave. Lansdowne, PA 19050.
