Obituary of Troc Phan

TROC QUANG PHAN, age 78, of Philadelphia, PA died on July 22, 2009. He is the beloved husband of Huongthuy (Dinh) Phan. He is also survived by his children, Thai Quang Phan, Huy Thai Phan, Hanna Thai Phan, Tham Thai Phan, Tue Thai Phan, 6 grandchildren and a sister Hai Duong Thi Phan.

Mr. Phan was a veteran of the South Viet Namese Army as a Lieutenant. During the war, Mr. Phan constructed a Temple in a war zone.

Mr. Phan became a Civil Servant following his military duty in the Department of Education. It was with his life experiences that his philosophy that he lived by and taught his family of helping people was developed. He preached "kindness, charity, and caring for the disadvantage".
